Will a rep dial fit in a Davidsen case?

I have an extra historic luminor sandwich dial I would like to swap. Will it fit with as is?

I read on RWG that davidsen dial and case are a bit larger than other reps'. So fitting a non davidsen dial to a davidsen case might leave a gap. Is that true, tak? I sure hope it fits perfectly. I then will get a davidsen and temporarily swap in a dial now and wait for davidsen to perfect the dial text.

Yes the case is slightly larger but should not leave considerable gap.

I did it on my PAM 195 and it is ok without any problem at all. See the post PAM 195 in Eye Candy forum.

I have the reverse problem. I want to order Davidsen's most recent dial for the 111h...but will it fit another dealer's case?

@manu: It may not fit. Easy fix is to trim it off using sandpaper.
