Can you believe that only 1 out of 9 people is typically left-handed?

So I was looking through the various wrist shorts and so forth and it occurred to me that I was the only one who posted a picture of my watch on my right wrist.

Anyone else left handed? Any right-handed people that wear their watch on their right arm? Which arm do you other left-handed (presuming there are any) people wear your watch on?

happy holidays

I am left handed but wear my watches on my left. I can do most things with both hands though.

That is the coolest situation - I know one other person who is right handed but wears his watch on his right hand. For the right vs left explanation I make sense of it for writing purposes, although when you are actually right handed that goes right out the window.

for the longest time I used to wear my watch on my left hand because I thought that was the wrist that you were supposed to wear watches on - kind of like a social norm like wearing one's collar up or down.

It is so you can set or change the time with it on your wist. That is why the crown is mostly on the right side of watches because most people are right handed and would wear it on their left therefore using their right hand to set the time..

Makes sense, I've been meaning to buy a destro (or two), but since these watches cater to such a smaller demographic their quality isn't on par with the right-hand-crown watches.

That being said, I don't have any trouble winding or setting my watches on my right wrist, but that is probably because I tend to wear my watches a little on the loose side

Oops, I figured I had a decent chance of guessing the model . . . of course luck would have it that I guessed the wrong one. Nice lincoln and fine rims nonetheless. I know there is a "what do you drive?" thread, but someone should post a thead where people post wrist-shots infront of their cars. If mine wasn't 100yds away and if it wasn't 38 degrees outside I might be tempted to go snap a pic infront of my car - Some other time, likely in the near future

i shot those pictures last summer. lol, it is warm here today but next week it is suposed to be cold again. i posted that car in the what do you drive thread. thanks for the complement, it draws a crowd everywhere i drive it. it only has 37,000 miles on it and it is the last year they made it, 1998 mark viii. i had the rims made, they were my gen tt sub. i got them instead of the watch. same price (ouch!) 7,100.00. plus tax.

ouch is right! the cost of the rims is more than most people spend in an entire year on car payments (on a lease). Good for you though having custom rims made, that is something I've wanted to do forever. Here is a picture of my car, I don't recall if I posted this pic in the 'what do you drive?' thread - which might be my next destination
