12-09-06 Chicago GTG....NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!

what's up peeps??? Sean K and myself tried to organize a GTG and thought it would be fun!! And it would be...we had almost everyone cancel!! Is it the holidays?? I mean they are towards the middle or the end of the month,depending on which one you celebrate. Or are you afraid we are posing as rep owners and we're really the "Rep Police" and we're gonna bust ya!! :lol: I had numerous PMs from fellow Chicagoans wanting more info about the GTG,but when i replied,i got no responses back from some. Don't get me wrong,it's no skin off my back,it's just we had set aside the time and place to do it. It would have been nice to meet some other watch/rep fans.

The two of us still showed and had a great time so don't let the numbers get you down. It is just too bad we couldn't get a big group together and take over the whole place.

Exactly Klink. If you want to make something like this work you have to start with a small number in a casual environment like a bar or coffee shop. Post about it and do it again in a month or so. Maybe you'll get 3 or 4, but post about it and do it again. By the 5th meeting I'll bet you'll have ten guys who will look forward to your monthly get togethers. People are shy, and meeting a group of strangers can be intimidating. Keep it small at first and let it grow.

I have never met anyone else either(from RWI)...we would have all been in the same boat together. But i could see how some people could be shy. maybe that's the case?? :?:
