You have a black-faced sub - start with the white Daytona. If you don't like it, get the black.

PeteTo, IMO get the white as I started out like you. Had a gen Sub and purchased a Daytona a year later. Ended up selling the Daytona as it had the same color face and is a very sporty watch, just like the Sub. The fact that it had no date I always ended up sporting the sub. But at the same time the Daytona is kind of dressy as it is polished mid links and case. So it never felt right. Watches need to be very different in my opinion so it gives you the option of really having change. Also the white Daytona is a real looker.
By the way are you flipping for a Gen or Rep. Ive been thinking of getting the swiss 7750 but heard it not even powerful enough to run secs at 6.

well im a bit nervous about the 7750 issue......kinda holdin me back now. I like the date feature so im thinkin the daytona might not be right for me after all. Now im kinda thinkin of a simple black DJ....

nfs060 has the same worry I do with the sec @ 6. I just sent an email to Josh asking about a sec @ 9 version, but they seem to not exist anymore

If I had the cash though, I would go for the MBW with El Primero, but 2300 euro is just... Owww...

Do u like the tAG link chrono which has white ( grey) face with 7750, but has
secs at 9....

and thats very accurate as a rep...

and has date function as well..

I was thinking fo the swiss at 9 but just not willing to spend that much on something that will bother me to death. Thats wrong sub spacing is a killer.
The TOG I would not buy. I find that the bezel is kind of not right on that watch. I used to think it was nice until I handled one in person. I my self am looking for a new white faced watch. I just sold my breitling GT and this was a real nice piece. If your looking for a full full size watch. Although it was a bit too flashy for me. I can honestly say I got lots of compliments on it though. I guess Im getting older.
