Invicta has a reputation for poor customer service and replica caliber quality control. They also have a rocky history in the WIS community, things like treating their AD's poorly etc. If you get a great one that works out of the box you are in good shape but dealing with them for service can be painful. My experience with them has been great but I've only got three of them and two of them were more expensive models!

Personaly I have always thought that usually there is a better value to be found from other small swiss brands or the well known Japan brands for the same price point however you would be hard pressed to find another 200 meter diver with a CF dial for what that Invicta cost!

Most of their watches look like Rolex reps with their logo. Do you guys think they dabble in this?

No Invicta is a holding company brand, no production facilities of their own. They contract to have their watches built in China and Switzerland depending on the models.

I've watched the comany for a few years, they have potential but always seem to fall just short of being really great. [smilie=dontknow.gif]
