May I ask what is a "Marlin" built? how much does something like this costs? without the strap? thx

Just interested to know what improvements in the real world do you get between the off the shelf Kw pam127 and the marlin KW/V6F swiss version? No knocking Marlin's work as he seems to be an artist that is well respected here... And I bought mine from puretime watches who are a TD here!

Very hard to capture the true beauty this watch is.
The gold hands are simply magic in certain lighting. The movement is beautiful.
If you are wanting the best Pam 127, buy a Marlin KW/V6F Swiss hybrid 127

Do I see on your pics two different straps with different reverse textures?
the reverse of GEN strap you ordered is of the same material/color as front side,
like pic #6 (the one after the torpedo one)???
or is of a differnt "polished" light beige leather, like shown on pics #7-8-9 &10 ???
Could you, please, show the reverse of the GEN strap MX001HV1?

A good friend of mine ordered one from local AD, and came with that new "light tan back" , the tone also was more brownish, brown indeed, not so golden as old ones, or as the tone shown at Panerai web site and catalogs.
By one moment, we thought "something went wrong" with the order. Now he is more relaxed
