Im a rookie in Rolex, looking into getting into this brand, already own several AP's and PAM's, the one i absolutely love the most is this one:

The Yachtmaster platinum or Grey Dial, Can you experts help me out to see how this compares to GEN?, will it pass the test?

For 1/3 more money You can do a lot better than that one and if it´s the watch You want just go for the best, looks, feel, movement, assembly quality, it´s worth every cent.

You can do 3 things.

1 contact TC. http://blog.tc-sub.com/2012/05/tc-watches-list.html?m=1

Order one and wait a few months. (Probably 2)


2 keep a close eye on the M2M sales section. Some members need funds and sell there yachtmaster. Prices of the YM are pretty firm i must admit, probably around $550-$600 including ww shipping.

Or

3 place a wanted ad in the m2m section, and wait it out.
