I just gonna say 'It could look easy :) " but its not. Make sure to practice on some spare dial with similar textures. My AP 15400 thin lume is such a nightmare.

Toothpick is ok for beginning, but not good. Buy some cheap oilers and you can relume everything.

A toothpick is too big buy a set of good quality watch oilers. They are much smaller. That's what I use. Mostly black and green handle size. Gold Handel is pretty damn microscopic!!!

That's what I figured aqua glows longer but not as bright as green. They both look green but at the fading point are they both blue? Another thing is SL reflects UV as a white blue aqua but when you turn the uv off its green. Most pigments glow their glow color under uv but SL pigment that looks blue to minty green. I can't explain that at all!!

My new Helenarou 6538.. the hands glow blue and the dial green under my UV flashlight but once the light is off everything is green.

This is so cool and interesting but I have shaky hands so forget it.

I'm going to get a magnifying station with crock clips that you see on ebay. I used to be into model making and painting so I'm hoping to find my lost skill. First effort will be uploaded good bad or fugly!

Question Thehitman what if I want to lume a dial with just lume blobs on there. Do I need to strip the old lume or can I go over it as long as the hands clear the 'blob'
