Hi all Pam fans,
I had sometime today and did a far bit of reading on watchbus. Chanced upon this and decided to translate it briefly for the benefits of all Pam fans:

http://watchbus.net/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=3199&extra=page=1

Essentially, looks like someone has successfully cloned the P4000 movement. So all the pam with P4000 movment on this page might/will be repped:
http://www.panerai.com/zh/collections/watch-collection/radiomir-1940.html

In addition, the followings would also be repped:
620
655
658
672
423
321
530
090 (KWv6 and a few factories are already attempting, apparently not an easy watch to rep)
786
662
663
The last 2 (662 and 663) would likely be launched by SF first, then followed by ZF, once ZF launches, SF might slash price: note!.
Happy drooling... :)

620 and 658 are calling my name but are you sure they will be able to successfully put together P.4002 movement, pm/am indicator, GMT and power reserve? I doubt it but fingers crossed, it's a beauty!

Am no expert on movements but I believe my grasp of the Chinese language is pretty good. [emoji14]

Yes -- 027, 028 and 057 all have functioning power reserves and are considered First Class reps. There are some lower class pieces that function, but are very flawed (423 comes to mind).

Would be nice if they finally make a good rep of the 577

Yes. And I believe there is at least another thread that seems to indicate that a factory has been working on a movement with micro rotor or decorated with a micro rotor.

Great news, that's quite a few reps to be released!

If I recall correctly one of the movement factories produces a mvmt with micro rotor already, most likely seagull. Someone even posted a pic of it.
It could be the one they will use to rep those beautiful Radiomir 1940 models :)

I am really looking forward to factories doing more on new movements. The iwc 5001 rep is a good example

Will these boxsets be available too? The link is near the bottom of that watchbus link...

???
The link you provided is the official panerai url in china (zhuhai if I am not wrong). I don't see that link in the watchbus link.
In any case, I believe most TDs should be able to get you the rep boxset with paper. Just have to ask. But bear in mind that the boxset is 2kg plus.
Think shipment fees, pal.
