That looks expensive and very, very cool.
In fact the largest RC airplane in the world was a gen 1:1 747, the so called "Crash in the Desert" experiment aircraft.

LOL, whoever wrote that piece of tin foil hattery has NFI what he's talking about. The QRS-11 has nothing to do with remote control, it's simply a backup gyro system that kicks in if the air supply to the "real" gyros goes down. Its small and very sophisticated so when planes are sold to places such as China it is supposed to be replaced with something less bleeding edge.
You gotta laugh at these folk who see that something is used in a missile and jump to the conclusion that it's capable of controlling an aircraft. If you wanted to remotely control a modern jet transport it would be a lot easier than that and need no "secret" hardware. All you need is remote access to the autopilot settings and to land be able to switch it to one of the auto landing modes. As long as the airport is so equipped airliners have been landing themselves for years on a daily basis so I don't know what this guy is on.
The 747 in the above post was a much older airframe of course without all that malarkey and was controled via an everyday Futaba model RC controller.
