Well, Stan is the MAN!! First time I've ventured into the replica world on-line and like many I was dubious about how it might work out but all I can say is WBK is definitely a trustworthy chap. Due to being new I had to pay via MoneyGram which was a major pain in the arse to set-up as my bank didn't like it due to the nature of fraudsters etc liking the service but once I spoke with them I eventually got my payment to Stan sorted out. I cannot believe how quickly Stan got my watch delivered, here's the timeline...
- Ordered and paid on Saturday around 8.00 am
- Stan collected payment and dropped watch to USPS same day.
- It arrived at my local UK postal depot Monday night but the cretins decided to not deliver it Tuesday or Wednesday.
- Wednesday at 11.00 am I collected it from the depot.
Now for the watch....
Considering this is a rep of a $50,000 watch and it cost me $215 (including $50 of postage costs) I cannot and do not have any serious complaints. Yes, if you look close enough and I mean in minute detail under a torch light you can find flaws, but in comparison to the Omega rep I bought on holiday this year the Daytona is a far superior rep.
- The lume isn't great at all, barely visible but hey it's only a $165 watch!
- The underside of the clasp is a bit messy as you can see where the recess for your nail to lift it up has been filed by hand; but hey it's only a $165 watch! I can polish this myself.
- A couple of the removable link pins poke out from the links, but hey it's only a $165 watch! I can file these down.
- Yes, the 6 o'clock sub dial isn't sweeping and indexes in it's movement but I'd rather have this due to it being the Seiko quartz movement over an inferior unreliable Asian automatic movement, I want this watch to last a year or 5!!
In short, I will buy from Stan again as he is easy to deal with and sells a great product.
Thanks WBK!!!
