Hello Everyone!

Nice to find a forum dedicated to this hobby. I currently have 39 watches in my collection (some are in the mail still). I have several gen pieces (Skagen, Invicta, Fossil, Etc.) as well as a number of reps. With the exception of 2 watches, my Fossil Arkitekt and Kennith Cole, I've acquired the rest of my collection over the past year...yes..the bug hit me HARD!

I will be sure to post a photo of my collection, and identify the watches with as much info as I have. I've ordered 21 reps, and paid around $473 USD for them. I'm just out of college and working my first "big boy" job...so funds aren't around for the genuine pieces or for expensive reps.

I collect reps, NOT for the status symbol, but instead for the design of these beautiful timepieces. I would much rather have a butt load of watches to choose from than buy one or two really nice pieces and be bummed I couldn't afford any more.

I look forward to learning more about this niche collectors arena, as well as seeing your collections!

All the best,
Scott

Welcome from Chicago! 21 reps for $473! Where are you purchasing these $20 reps from? Ali would be my guess.. Anyways enjoy your time here, but set your budget and expectations higher. You'll be happy for it in the end.

My 3 most recent acquisitions.. An AP RO, Hublot King Power Diver 4000, and Breitling Navitimer.

I've had fairly decent luck with all of my reps from Ali. The only one that has failed me so far was my Vacheron Constantine, but it was due to my own actions. Long story short..I hit on one of our displays at a recent trade show and knocked the rotor loose. Luckily I was able to remove it and it still functions as a hand wind auto.
