THANK YOU, Jason. I very much appreciate the kind thoughts. I've missed being here, too, and plan on being here more often during my recovery and rehab. Best to YOU, my friend.

Nice, J.! Haven't seen an Explorer I with a textured dial before. There's always a first time for all things, er?

VERY nice, Gabe! Very clean, uncluttered dial/face as well. PERHAPS, I, too, could warm up to one of these contraptions, although I AM a computer/tech Neanderthal Man, heh!

NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, DD.! You like it a lot, you get more. I like the classic 116610LN and 116613LG-- I have several of each one!

dave

And another one just because I really like this one...!

THANKS, J -- and minty! Appreciate. Well, this is life; you just have to deal with it; I've learned that when life knocks you down, just get right back up and keep moving forward. (Uh, I have to do so -- (joke: Guys my age HAVE to keep moving: if we don't, people start THROWING DIRT ON US!!))

dave

@bbphrog Hope you'll have a textbook surgery Dave. Hanging out here during your recovery is a nice way to make you healthier. Take care buddy.

Hey Minty...Where did you get that awesome strap? what color is it?

Thanks Bud.
Thanks! It came from my favorite watch store... RWI'S M2M sales section! Sorry that I can't tell you the maker since it's unbranded, but the color is a rich cream. It's a nice compliment to many assorted dials.

Hi, Gang!

I'm just back for this week, as I'm undergoing a partial hip replacement & will be out of commission for a while. That said, RWI will still be my home during recovery. For today, this Rolex Explorer II secured from Ali a while ago (& had done a complete presentation for the Gang). Great watch, but the paint on the bezel numbers isn't as brilliant as the gen. Still, not too shabby. (Old pics.)

Dave: I didn't know about your hip replacement, i hope your recovery goes well.
My best wishes for you and your family.
