Which DSLR or other professional camera do you have to use?

Awhile back I picked up a Nikon D3300 with stock lens and 55-200mm lens.
I've used it quite a bit, and most recently for taking some shots of my reps.

I've seen a lot of you with some great quality photos, let's hear what you have!

Nikon D7100 with Nikkor 50mm f/1.8d, AF-S 70-200mm, and DX 18-70mm. Also a 3rd party battery grip, which, while adding bulk and weight, completely transforms the camera's usability, in a good way.

It's a great camera. Next move, a few years down the line when I am better, will be a full frame camera.

I'm a cinematographer so have a big ol' cinema camera that I then take stills with

I've got a Sony FS7, mostly with Samyang 35mm (T1.5) and a 50mm Canon L Series (T1.2)

I've heard the 4th gen of the Sony mx100 is great! The reviewer says shooting 4k heats up the camera too quickly.

I bet the canon 5D mark II is good

I have a Canon 70D with the Canon EF 24-70mm 1:2,8L II USM, however I just ordered the Canon EF 17-40mm/f4,0 L USM.

I like the Canon quite a lot, however lately I think Nikon is the way to go. Anyone switched from Canon to Nikon? What top-midlevel DSLR would you recommend?

I've shot Canon since the early point-&-shoot days in 2003. Today I use an EOS 20D with the EF 17-40mm. f/4.0 L. A piece of advise: it's all about that glass! Seriously - invest in a quality lens and your pictures will look great even if you shoot with a 10+ year-old body. And as another note, prime lenses typically offer optics superior to those of the zoom variety (wider aperture, sharper images, less chromatic-abberation, etc.). And when you've had enough of dealing with ambient light, buy a couple of budget Yongnuo speedlites and radio triggers to really control your shooting environment. Oh, and shooting RAW (.CR2 on the Canon system) will preserve valuable details when editing.

Love me the Nikkor Lenses
D90 body, Nikkor 24-70mm, 16-35mm, 70-300mm, 50mm F1.8, 60mm Macro and a Tokina 11-16mm Wide Angle

Started with a DX body but bought best glass I could afford at the time. If anyone ever has thoughts of really getting into Photography, do yourself a favor and buy Full Frame glass and all you ever would need to do is upgrade the Body if you really get into it.

I used to own a 5D MKIII, but have since sold that. At the moment I'm looking at purchasing the 5DSR and then getting suitable lenses for it due to the fact that I am now starting product photography

I have an entry level Canon 1000d with stock 18-55mm lens which I love. In my opinion the camera is quite good for a beginner and it was just 90dollars second hand package.

I used to shoot sports, so Canon 7D and 70-200 2.8 as my normal lens. Great for portraits, too, though you have to have your "target" stand far, far away. :)

Picked up a Nikon D3300 with kit lens this week and I´m impressed. This entry-level 24 MP DSLR is capable of more than digital pro-cameras could do 10 Years ago and has a higher resolution than any pro Nikon out at the moment. Just waiting for a simple Nikon f 1.8/35mm fast and low-light lens to go with it and it will see in the dark:) As it´s cheap and light (460 gr) You can really take and carry it everywhere without having to baby it - until a couple of Years ahead the next generations are out.

Most watch-shots have been done with the pocket Canon Powershot SX220 HS which allows full manual mode and I normally carry everywhere or the Nikon D70 that I´m going to retire now.

Nikon f 1.8/35mm

This is an amazing lens, extremely versatile, very affordable. Best bang for your buck DX lens imo

I myself shoot with a Nikon D5100, with a Nikon 35mm f/1.8, and a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8. All I really need tbh

Tokina's a great value on the wide end and the distortion is super easy to fix in LR.

Nothing for the 80-100 range? That's usually where portraits start looking really great, if you do any people pictures.
