Gen Bee Strap on j12 Base

I have a question i hope my fellow members can help out

I currently own a j12 bee and was considering ordering a gen strap from an AD

Will there be gaps ?

Any help would be appreciated

I saw sharrkey's BB with gen strap a while ago and they fit perfect

Yep, it'll fit perfectly. Mine is also on gen strap. But on rare occasions, there might be gaps since I suspect the inserts on the gen strap have variations as well.

Do you know if this is the case with all J12 ROOs with gen strap or just a BB issue?
I ask coz I have a gen GP strap waiting for the C&W GP... now worried.

My OEM GP strap fits perfectly at my AP Schumacher. But I don't know how the GP strap fit at a AP GP.

And should I also purchase the deployment clasp from AD ?

According to the gen vs rep comparison the gen is a little thinner so maybe it would sit better ?

[MENTION=79109]schumi[/MENTION] for gen rubber strap, it'll be gaps. I have 3 gen rubber straps and all of them have gaps when fitted on JF AP.
So conclusion:
On JF AP,
Gen rubber strap will have gaps.
Gen hornback strap won't always have gaps.

Should fit fine without problem. I have my JF GP on the gen GP strap. Noob 44mm will also fit gen GP strap perfectly.
