Going crazy one package being processed by US customs for one week in JFK NYC Another EMS package origin preparing package for shipment for 5 days. WHAT'S UP WITH THIS

I stay away from EMS, I know in chicago its not safe at all. I use DHL or Registered airmail.

Meah, a week is not that long mate, probably just backed up.
All "preparing for shipment" means is the lazy arsed shippers that Josh used haven't delivered it to the PO yet.

DHL over EMS? Since when? DHL do their own customs and are usually tigers for finding stuff as they get paid on such results.

Do NOT use DHL. I don't know why people suggest them, it might be like 2 days quicker but you'll have to pay at the door - and as mentioned they have their own customs. EMS has got me my packages every time, just be patient.

I guess you right but I think piss you off too. I not a noob by any means been in this hobby ten years never took this long and see what happened in Cincinnati not good. Just sharing. Anyone in NYC seen slow down I customs

Just make sure you use a TD who has a good replacement policy and use a forum where they are a TD so mods can help if you have problems and you have no worries. If the worse comes to the worse I'm sure Josh will sort you out, so as the other guys say, keep calm and keep drinking! Good luck

Thanx when you think I should ask for reshipment. One parcel stuck in customs 9 days and another just hit customs and no update for 24 hours. Have another leaving GZ right now I live in NYC. Anyone else having problems with customs in JFK. Possibly a rep crackdown like in Cincinnati. Please advise folks

You'll get a letter if it is seized. Until then you can't do jack.

You really need to chill. Nine days in customs is not a big deal. My rule is 30 days. If you still haven't received the package in one month then take action. I use EMS and I have never had any issue.

As we have all said mate, 9 days is nothing so cool your jets and wait. Not at all sure how you have survived so long in this hobby if you are this stressed after nine days.

Also, as the lads have said no one will be reshipping anything until after you get a customs letter to send them which is something else you should know after ten years.
