Yes, it's weird how they came up with that dial. Bad decision.

I just saw the release that Ryan posted and came here to see what was up with the dial? Did they embed tiny golden hairs? I had high hopes for this release but I think I'll wait for a v2 if it ever comes out.

The gen has speckles on the dial as well.. the rep didn't the speckles 100% accurate but they are there.

There really aren't speckles on the dial. Here's a pic of the gen where the light is hitting it just right to show the real color.

I am waiting to buy my first B&R rep. How about the quality of the case (watch head), if they done the case well, we will see the factory released other dials (hopefully correct and 99% close to gen) that we are happy to buy.

Well spotted. I am looking for something like that, only the BR01 - 92 version 46mm size. Anyone know of a source. Plenty at the ALIEXPRESS end of the market. But I am looking for a true rep.
