DW's are not very accurate, dial seems a bit glossy but it's difficult to be 100% sure...anyway I 'd rather have the old Slevin repped again

Indeed the DW fonts are not accurate

On Gen, the wording "SCHAFFHAUSEN" below date is much thinner. The IWC wording is also closer and smaller as well

Anyway this Diver is the previous generation which has been discontinued. The new Aquatimer isn't as "loud".

^ I reckon I could live with those flaws for sure. As long as the lume on the dial and outer bezel glows like a BFF then i'm sold. AND they need to make it on bracelet.

If the Gen 7750 font is close, we can swap them. Wankers at the inaccuracies, there are... :yoda:

The strap looks like a dust magnet too. I want to thank Ray for the gen comparisons! If the lume on the rep is acceptable, I will probably get one. I've always wanted one but the lume held it back.

I purchased two of these Aquatimer 2009 reps a long, long time ago. I can't say what - if anything - is new in these watches, but judging from the wrong strap and the wrong DD wheels colour, it seems like very old stock is now being offered again.

In the gen, both the crystal and the sapphire bezel are flat, whereas on the replica they are dommed; this has a huge impact on the appearance of the replica when compared to the genuine.

Be warned that the rubber strap is a piece of shit. Both my watches had their straps broken in several pieces while in the watchbox. The strap is that bad! And the quick release mechanism is a very bad joke... I had to superglue my strap endlinks.
