Not that difficult to remove a Cyclops; only a few special tools are needed. See this post over on TRF that provides an Official Rolex Approved step-by-step guide on how to do it properly.

TC offers a version without cyclops (yeah yeah not ceramic version). Some folks dislike it but want a sub, I'm inclined to try again to remove the one on my cheapy SubC (poor positioning), attempted but backed off in fear of cracking/breaking the crystal.

My cyclopes popped right off with a little heat and a razor blade, I think it looks a lot better now. Hmm, now i kind of wish I had gotten a sea dweller. I never understood the point of the cyclopes personally.
