How do the decorated movement plates affect the functionality and serviceability of these Miyotas? Can they be taken apart and serviced after those plates are glued on??

Plate isn't glued on. There are 5 screws that secure it once the rotor is removed. Then it just lifts straight off.

Might be an optical illusion vs case size but is it me or the logo on the 15450 looks larger?

So far from what was mentioned above and a simple search shows:

15450 comes in (Material/Dial Color/Strap)

1) Steel/White/Bracelet

2) Rose Gold/Black/Leather

3) Roae Gold/White/Leather

But of course if you could afford such a watch you could afford custom making any combination you like as well!

The gen only comes in white btw, lucky since i reckon it's the best dial color for an APRO.

6" Bracelet isn't as flexible as the 15400 TF but still wears comfortably. Also, a glaring difference between the gen is that the rep has 7 permanent links like the 15400, but the 15450 only has i think 5. Not that it makes a difference unless your wrist size is 5" or smaller, nor would anyone notice. It still wraps around fine.

I'm a little torn, having a tiny 6.25" wrist here as well.

I have a 14790 (36mm close caseback) and was hoping to pick up a 15300 because the 15400 was too big. Now this is just 1mm larger than the 14790... Decisions decisions

The 14790 is nice, but the clasp kills it for me. If you're 6" as well, it shouldn't be a problem. This is a much better rep than the current 15300.
