Hahaha, I talked to the AD early this morning, my story is: Someone owes me money and he want to pay me with a watch with lost papers, so I want to verify that is not stolen. They gladly agree to verify that without cost. [emoji18]

That's a risk you're taking, because the chances of a watch at that price tag not reported as stolen is very low. Lets be honest, no one in their right mind will sell a watch to you at that price they have gotten legitimately and he probably doesn't know the worth because it wasn't his in the first place. If it has been marked as stolen, then it could be seized and not given back to you . Just saying... That's trying your luck even further

Yes, I read Article 17 from AP Terms and conditions: "AP reserves the right to keep the Watch in custody until ownership is determined or to deliver it to law enforcement authorities" but this will only happen if I request a repair/service. In the very remote chance is not reported then I'll ask them for a service. [emoji41]

Just for your info, usually AD will look up the serial number even when performing simple service. Because they need to record which part has been serviced to which particular watch.

Gen owner won't care, most likely it is insured (if he isn't a retard or so rich that he will just buy another and it'll be like buying another drink.)

I also love it how people get to butt hurt and jealous on these forums. So what if he got a bargain or so what if the story is fake.

Well, Gen owner also didn't care on register his watch so it's not reported. Now I can ask for a service without worries. [emoji355] [emoji111]

Congrats. You got a hell of a bargain, please take care of the watch as a new owner. You have what many people here can only dream of owning :)

To be honest, that's what I'd do. Swap it for a rep ceramic bezel - better than a beat up gen FC bezel in my opinion. I think they'll charge you $3k + just to put a new FC bezel on.

From what I read is the only viable solution because AP stop the production of FC Bezels.
Apparently FC cases are great but FC Bezels not so much, so now they are "upgrading" FC Bezels to Ceramic.

I'm really curious to know where you can source the rep ceramic bezel of this watch...

Is this watch not the same dimensions as the other 44mm APs? Can't you just grab an already made ceramic bezel from J12?

Hi everyone, after six months (since Nov 15th) and almost 3K USD including watch service and a OEM GP strap in mint condition I present to you:

^ F**k that looks good. $3k for making the watch look brand new is worth it. You have a $60k watch right there
