I've decided to stop lurking and actually join this forum, mostly out of personal interest.
I come from forums where reps are very frowned upon, yet I've started to feel the interest growing, but had nobody to discuss with (except to remind me how 'fake' are the people buying replicas - I guess you all know the drill by now)!
I'm still hesitant to buy my first rep as I have to grow over the learned / imposed feeling of guilt I'm sure I'd have buying and wearing a replica watch. Maybe I will never buy a replica, but at least I'll be informed of the give-aways.
As for my personnal collection, I own 2 Seikos (SSA074 and SPC087), 1 Victorinox Maverick GS (Sub homage), 2 Parnis (Big Pilot and Ingenieur homage), a Marina Militare PAM 111 homage, a Tissot Perpetual Calendar and my most expensive watch - an Omega Seamaster Pro 2541.80.
If I ever decide to step in the Dark Side, I would probably start with an AP Royal Oak blue dial 15400, as it is my grail watch! I have a couple of PAM and Rolex in mind, too!
