I remember back in 2008 there was no such thing as QC pics. After doing your research you pulled the trigger and prayed! (That's what she said...)

Better yet, you forgot. Then, after months, a package would turn up out of nowhere.

I've been a member of Reegeek since 2008 and has been my home hence why my post count has been low over here as I lost interest in doing duplicate posts on RWI &RWG. I have recently been spending more time over here and became a VIP so looks like RWI is my new home. I still go over to RG but it sadly a shadow of hits former self :(

Rob, I know you remember how it used to be. Some members have no idea how easy they have it and just how good their reps are and complain about the smallest detail only a microscope can see.

Absolutely do...and it was great then. Just guys think it's great now. It was a different time, different deal but it was still very bad ass. RedBigJoe modded my first PerfectClones 16610, and it didnt suck one bit.

SFA (Pat) was the glue holding that place together. Wonder what happened to him? Posted some nice pictures of his wife and her girlfriend that kept up the interest level. And he was the go to guy for information on Fukushima after the accident even though half of it turned out to be wrong.

And yeah, it is starting to get a little boring over there.

ruby is the first one that started sending pictures of the actual watch you bought for approval before she shipped it. when she wanted to start selling watches (high end handbags and such was her expertise) she asked me what she could do that was different.

she had josh and andrew's suppliers but nobody knew her. i told her to send pics to the customer before shipping so there were no surprises when they opened the box...... that changed everything....

I've always wondered who's fault these QC pictures were. So it was you who ruined it for the rest of us.

You turned the excitement of a Christmas morning surprise into the equivalent of a long and tiring trip to a discount mall.

That is awesome. Total game changer!

Yes KBH - I wonder what happened to SFA? He seemed liked a cool guy. I remember one time he really took one for the team. There was a scammer over on TRF and Pat outed himself and said he contacted all of the moderators on the rep forums to alert them to this guy and ban him. He said scamming behavior is not tolerated and is terrible.

The TRF guys descended on him like a pack of rabid wolves. They tore him to shreds and by golly, he took it like the marine he was. Even when members from RG defended him without outing themselves, he told everyone to remain silent and he would take it for the team. Those a-holes even questioned his military service when he wrote that he wore both reps and gens and lots of guys use reps over in the sandbox so you don't literally trash an expensive gen. Eff those mofos in that thread. Kokk sukkers.

I joined geek last week and I find it an awkward less userfriendly site to navigate than here.
I don't know why, but i just didn't feel connected with the site unlike here where it's fairly easy to while away a few hours each evening without working up a sweat!
To be honest, I don't fancy going back there! The only thing that may make me bother trying to find my login, is for a wider range of dealers - the more dealers you have access to, the larger the range of merchandise hopefully.
