If (Hauwei) Wah Way steps up their game, (Update wise) they will be contender. The P8 Lite is a really sold phone, I can only imagine the watch will have the same build quality. The watch is Android wear too, so hopefully there will be lots of development for it.

I've never had any interest in smart watches and I dont think I ever will. BUT... every time I see the LG Urbane, I want to get one.

The LG look nice too. They both have similar spec except for the Huawei had higher resolution.

Android wear (aka its Operating system) is supported by iphones but it lacks certain features.

I tried to convince myself before summer to get into the smart watch thing but really did not work out. First of all I cannot live far from my beloved analogue watches and believe me it is not practical to have your watch all day reminding you about everything digital. You can always set most of the notifications off, so there, everything digital goes out of the window and then for a couple of days you mess around with watch faces and then off it goes, sold and you get another rep to get yourself all straightened up!!!

Yeah, the LG urbane would be the one for me, but it still falls short. For it to be a smartwatch, it would need to be a watch first, and have some additional features. Most of the smartwatches are a small screen with the watch piece as an afterthough. I'd consider getting a smart watch if it would last for at least a week with an always-on face. I'd actually like to see a model with an LCD overlay similar to the kindle. Basically, with a good background, you could have a super power saver monochrome face.
