I thought they were fixing the screws, thus the delays and why no one has the blue Ruben yet... We can only hope for the best.

I was thinking the same. Maybe the 1:00 screw can just be removed and just have a recessed hole. Hopefully without removing the dial.

I'm told it's only a sample watch and stocks are not released yet, let's hope they fix it. Either way, it's a great job by the JF factory, gear plate, better Crystal, screws, no holes clasp, etc... Not much modding needed esp if they fix the plate before release.

I still can't figure them out- I paid for the RBII plat about 3 weeks ago and all was supposed to be OK. Fortunately my TD said he would have mine tomorrow for QC- and this time he said for sure. It doesn't make sense for the mfg to hold delivery of one model since it is more likely that the buyers will buy only one at a time- that way space it out to 2 deliveries and sell more. It does look simple to remove screw but then a tiny hole remains. I guess s pinprick of liquid stainless can take care of that.

Not possible I'm afraid, angle doesn't look like you can without the risk of damaging the dial.

I wouldn't praise them yet! The plate is actually pretty bad, center gear too kiddy and large, and knowing JF from their GP attempt, if the plate and dial is one piece, good luck to anyone trying to remove that extra screw, depending on pricing it may even be cheaper to pick up a noob, slaughter plate and no holes clasp!
