I'm liking where this is going. The date window is the one thing that still bothers me on my frankens.... especially when the date is in the 20's. Great work

In the process of the modification, there is fine line to tread. It is possible entirely to get the magnification overdone and that's when the distortion would start around the edges of the numbers. I chose to showcase date "23" because as you well know it is a date that would be taking up the most space in the window. I have to ensure that both numbers show up well.
The height of the numbers need to look correct as well after the magnification.
I'm still doing the final refinement but I believe that I'll get there. It's an onerous process but I would like to think that it'll pay off in the end.
The datewheel magnification is a tell on most ROO frankens that I've seen. The ETA datewheel is a personal preference but I'll likely do one with the edgematic datewheel just to see what it looks like.

No I'm sorry if I sounded standoffish. What I meant is: I am developing the first batch for my own use and some friends to have, but subsequently I would be working with someone exclusively to release this for everyone else.

That's awesome stuff A. Im just waiting for a Miyota 8215 to arrive so I can see if it's at all possible to modify the 9015 to low beat. Sometimes you have to go the extra mile for the sake of perfection!!

That's great news Al. I am sure lots of people are lining up for these on both frankens and 7750s and I am one of them.
then it's a good news now. the cyclops completely changed the look of the watch.
If you happen to be in Singapore, that is the same place that I am based.
So I am definitely willing to help when the MKII cyclop is fine tuned to my satisfaction.
