Let's make a nice separate discussion thread about the new RM055.

I asked my TD a few times if he had any info on when he could source this watch for me, he said: "No news yet on that RM unfortunately . I think we'll see it in a few days hopefully ."

Have you guys heard anything from your TD's?

The dial has discs that actually dont even move. I have observed the video from the turkish seller and it seems just decorative unfortunately!

We all know that it's just deco plates. But if they're good and believable enough, then why not? I'm not gonna go into "anal-mode" because this is RM and we know there won't ever be a decent rep of it like what we have in APland or PAMland or Rolexland.
So please don't expect anything decorative will move or anything. If it can even move, I'll be super grateful.

Also, the gears aren't tourby so they shouldn't move if you don't wind the crown anyway.

I think if we are lucky we may see a decent RM005 or RM010 rep. But I doubt we'll see any super-rep quality reps of the more complicated LE RMs, at least not any time soon.

Just saw these reps...much better than previous reps. I think if they can make a better version and like super-rep, they can increase prices to new AP ROO prices and they will sell.

I dont get why it is not available from our TDs yet.
Instagram is full of RM35 carbon reps in many colour combinations...
I want to get the gen like colour combo with the red crown ring and put it on a red rubber.

How is the strap attached Jamztio? Is it like on a Hublot with two screws on each side or those are decorative?

It's ok. No smell, not a lint magnet and smooth feeling. Not as soft as JF AP rubber though. It's more like a PAM rubber if my memory is right.

Cool! As long as it's not as bad as the 010 or 052 rubber it should be fine. RM full of lint make you feel real cheap. Lol
