Problem with one month old Sub Noob V5

Hello all, my wife's sub (purchased from Toro and received on the 6th of July one month back just stopped working. I tried winding for just a little, moved the hands around but nothing. It is an unfortunate event as she did not use it and took very good care of it.
What do you think should I do? What a TD does in such cases? Thank you [emoji4]

td will most likely have you send it bac, probly better and faster to send it to a trusted modder here... if you in usa ive personally used Katt and he is super fast !

I am located in the Middle East so it will take time to fix it...I emailed Toro so I am waiting to see what he has to propose

It is good the TD will help. Not sure I would be so accommodating a month after delivery. Unfortunately buying a rep is always a gamble and it sounds like you have been unlucky. If you have access to a local rep friendly watchsmith, I would definitely go down that route, if only cause I would get the movement serviced at the same time, which should result in several years of trouble free operation...

Hello there, I would do so but I know that for servicing would require around 150€ (take all engine apart, wash and lube plus testing and waterproofing). Already call and will go over next week in Athens as now I am on vacation.. What to do, DSSD is perfect at the moment and Sub encountered this issue, bad luck

I took my decision and I will send it back to Toro so they can repair it. The weirdest part is that I have arranged to buy a gem sub so next week I will have it and will compare it to the rep and of course post as many pics as I can [emoji5]?

Its sad to hear that you had some issues for your watch after using it for a month. But that aside, I really had to applause toro for still be willing to take in the watch to repair. Im sure you will get back your watch working 100%. Any other person might have tried to push the blame back to the owner. I mean who knows what might have transpired after a month of use, and we are talking about reps after all. But you know what, I'm pretty confident that majority of our TDs would have done the same and that is what gives me the assurance to buy from these guys. Bravo!

Hi, You can always ask if he recommends someone in the EU You could send it to (repair at Your cost).
The cheapest and most logical (for TDs) is to have it fixed back in China (it´s 1/10th of the cost of EU).
If You like and use the V5 it´s worth to buy a new, clean Asian movement (in Europe) and have the
movement replaced and the watch waterproofed (estimate eur 200,- for all), the quality is just better.

Actually my vacation comes to an end tomorrow so I will head back to Middle East and send it to him from there. I thought of servicing it but after talked to the local watch smith he said that if the movement is dead he cannot obviously do any magic to repair it so I thought that it is fair to send the watch in China and be repaired by the TD. I am very pleased Toro accepted to check and repair the piece since my wife wore it only like 10 times and she was dissapointed that the watch went dead like this. I wear my DeepSea every day and I enjoy it so much but this just happened on her what can we do..??

Great going on all of the above posts !! Another good reason why we should trust our TDs to remedy some issues !! ........Imagine what you would encounter if the watch you bought came from Mr. Ali-Boomboom and stopped working !!

Indeed, going with an TD is the only way... And all the transaction procedure was so smooth and professional both times I trusted him
