BlancPain Fifty Fathoms Comparsion first and latest batch (fonts, lume, case, etc.)

Hi Geeks, since i own a Noob BlancPain Fifty Fathoms from the first batch and one of Noobs latest, i thought i would make a small and amateurish comparsion about bezel colors, bezelteeth and overall fit and finish.

Hope that help to see that the earlier batches are much more accurate than the later. They changed bezellume color, AR on the crystal and Bezelteeth layout. What i was sadly not able to capture is the difference between the AR of the crystals. The earlier batch is perfect, light blue hue with stron AR effect. So the crystal is near transparent, what is definitley not on the latest batch. Here the crystal looks a bit "milky" in direct comparsion.

First batch version mostly on right or on top, you will notice it from the more yellow bezel lume color

Even when making new batches they couldn't align the markers.

Do you notice a difference in the strength of the lume between the two?

Did they ever include a longer strap?

Lume looks stronger on the first batch, greener too.
I have the second batch, and had to send it to fellow member Tagfan1 to realign the bezel for me - don't get me wrong, the watch is amazing, but for $500 give or take, the bezel should have come perfectly aligned.

If ordering the FF, is it a certainty that you will receive a 2nd batch? Do TD's acknowledge that there are first and second batches and can / will they distinguish this difference for you?

As fars as i know, the first batch is sold out long ago. Not available any more. So you will only receive the later versions from the dealers. Or you have to get a V1 from a m2m deal i think.

The TD's don't keep an inventory, they source what is available at the time of order.

Maybe you are right. It's different, but from the pictures i can't determine wich is closer.

Yes, the fonts are different. But not that much. Both are a little off compared with Gen.

Also is little difference between the bezel crystal. The 5 (15, 45) number in the new batch is more accurate according to the gen.

Imo even on quality pics the first batch - including the nice, off-white bezel numbers - is visually not distinguishable from gen.
(see the detailed quality print on the dial/ last pic The only other lettering as sharp is on the KH-dial from TC.
The fun factor here is that gens come with slight variations/differences too, several steps are still made by hand in the BP factory.
