And also that rep APs have not been massively popular among most people. You see a lot of teenagers with Hublot, breitling and rolex reps.
Also i love the distinctive watch design

Two years ago, AP was completely off my radar. I didn't dislike them, I just wasn't looking at much besides vintage Rolex and mid range gens. My first encounter was the FC V3. Someone on RWG posted some photos in the general discussion area, I saw the watch,. was impressed by the quality, and it's very unique design. another factor, this is a pretty much "under the radar " watch, at least out here in the sticks where I live. Everyone knows Rolex, and as said above, until proven otherwise a lot of folks just assume a Rolex is a fake. I'm an older guy in a profession that allows the wearing of nice genuine watches, but still I have had people ask me " Is that a real Rolex"? Never had that question asked about AP's As I said,I started out with divers, and bought three of them before venturing off into ROO chronos. I now have four of them as well. I like the design, the fact that they are well made and have great wrist presence.
There are a few dislikes as well. First off despite repairs and maintenance by very respected watch repair people on the forums, I have had movement problems with 3 out of the 4 ROO's. I went a while without any problems, but when the movement gremlins hit, they attacked with a vengeance. I know that there are members out there that will claim that they have never had any problems with the a7750 sec@ 12 movement, but my thoughts are , if you get enough of them and wear them regularly, you are going to have problems, sooner or later.
Finally, because of my wrist size, I don't believe that the 44mm ROO's would be a good fit for me, although I see guys with wrists that are 1/2 to 3/4 of and inch smaller wearing 44mm's. Just not for me. I will also say that they (ROO'S) are a bit top heavy and not as comfortable as thinner lighter watches. I have helped this problem somewhat by changing all the straps on my ROO's to the newer 20mm straps with tang buckles. The wider strap and the tang buckle seem to redistribute the weight better and the watch is more comfortable.
I don't like APs. I'm just a man with a taste for questionable women.
