Hi guys, again I'm not one to contribute as much as I should but I thought I'd post a few photos of my new order. If it helps someone decide on their next purchase then it's done it's job.
I'll keep it short and sweet as much as I can,
Constructive criticism welcomed

Great comms great service ..... The usual
Explorer II , steel / gold datejust II , yachtmaster
First impressions on the explorer II ... I like it , heavy ish , good size, not many white dials I've had so it's different, not sure on bracelet (a bit tinny maybe) but this may get smoother in time, clasp excellent
Second up .. Datejust II, first impression I didn't like it, was it too gold? (I prefer rose) were the links too rounded? I find it difficult comparing with pictures. I've wanted a gold and steel datejust II for a long time so I figured buy the rep if I like it that much but the gen (I did this with the deep blue).. Which one? Well a quick look on chrono24 and this model / dial combo was for sale in the UK for around 6k from memory. I've always found so many different models of datejusts to keep up.
I'm now wearing this as we speak it's grown on me gradually.... Infact I'm starting to like it a lot, I still need to compare finer details and dial combos but I'm glad I bought this.
Nice size, crisp good clasp, a little light I'd imagine feels the same weight as the explorer but I presume in gens it would be heavy because of the gold
Thirdly the yachtmaster , nice !! a little small in the world of big watches ( I have a gen yachtmaster II) but lovely bracelet , lovely dial, lovely bezel , smooth , clean , crisp.
Clasp a little tinny and the easy link a bit loose so to be fixed but that's luck of the draw when buying reps
Overall .... I like !! I think it's very clever what these factories can do and it helps people like me who maybe just maybe buy the gen because of it ... Everyone's a winner
I've tried to stay as neutral as I could as if I've just opened the box and how my impressions have evolved over the days.
Apologies for iPhone photos / reflections spelling mistakes and not staying short and sweet , my first sort of mini review.
What do you guys think ?
