I'm starting to get too many watches, so I need to get a watch box.

So I'm hoping everyone will post what they are currently using, how much you paid and where you got it from.

Thanks everyone

I use these.... They are fairly empty now :( I had some bad luck with straps.

The box was about 27 and the winder was 490 some-odd from Amazon.

Some pics of the actual boxes

I am looking at getting some stands next to make space when all my pieces come back. There is a thread on some very nice ones in the general section.

Never really saw the point for winders. Love to see a study on which is worse for a movement.. Running 24-7 or start / stop.

Go get a nice rainer out of Germany or a cheapo from acer time

they're usually for people who dislike setting the time every time they put a watch on.

Exactly. I like having a different watch on with why I am wearing (my 187 being an exception cause I love it so much) I may go a month or so without wearing a particular watch and setting the time over and over again and remembering to set the date at 6pm and all those little things so a winder just make it easier for me personally. And I think it looks nice as a display case as well :) obviously the drawback is servicing intervals etc. but I am ok with that.

Watches in that kinda winder you have looks really luxurious and gorgeous.

Remember now....That 'collection' is years of buying/selling/sourcing/building-have built many times turned over journey of shit. I mean I could blog 100,000 words on the "stories' of each of them. That would be so long it would bored the pee pee out of everyone LOL.

But still cooler'n hell. I LOVE the "story". The "story" is the hobby path for me. Absolutely is.

Thanks mate....

Thanks, it was well worth it. It's probably going to last as long as the watches

Very crisp! I love it they way everything pops in there. I take it you're very OCD about being tidy, and cleanliness. :)

Does it show? haha

I make sure to clean wipe them down before they even go in the box too

If I had a collection like Rob's, it would probably take me ages just to organize them!

Hint: It is a shitty pic and a 1/2 ass dusting with a Swifter Duster. So it's okay to say, "damn man, clean yur shit first"
