Post or mail the dimensions of the spacer and I will see what I can do. Does it need to be milled and turned or just milled? Are you starting with a spacer and need it modified or is it a new spacer from scratch?

I have the equipment. I am just very short on time. I travel most of the time and am only home for couple days between trips.

Hi, great job, this is my similar project, but not finished jet. I have to replace a crystal, AR was damaged so I have to remove it, and a dial is from Asian movement so date is not right fit. I am looking for a new or used dial for 45mm PO and crystal with AR. I got a used damaged Omega with ETA 2824, bought a hand here on RWI (thanks RWI), still looking for new SECOND hand for ETA movement.
I see you are a expert, so what do you say, this is realy my own work, help only on YouTube and net.

Nice work, it's a labour of love but well worth it.

I too am looking for a new crystal, although have been away from the scene for a while, the genuine crystal is pricey, hopefully someone will offer up a sunnydale crystal, they are as good as it gets without going gen.

Not sure if I have a seconds hand I maybe do, will have a look.

If you need to order original parts (hands/crystal then do it soon) genuine parts will be unavailable to the public quite soon.

You may want to consider sealing up your HE valve and keep a eye on the crown tube they are weak areas.

What maker is yours, you ideally want a V4 or V5 if you're gonna franken it.

Let me know if you need any help.

That's an outstanding amount of work put into that watch. It's really something else. Glad to see it turned out so well!

Thank you, I love it.

Considering the gen, so this may go to help fund it. Although not sure I could part with it.

As fantastic as a gen is, I wouldn't part with this. It's something you put a lot of time and effort into, and it's more special than a gen in that regard. I would keep this around, and save up a while longer for a gen. I have a feeling this would be a watch sale that you could regret.

Thanks. If you find a second hand , I Will be greatfull. Sunnydale crystal Will do fine for me too.

This Omega is cca 7 - 8 years old, when I went to cinema wiht my family to look a James Bond Casino Royale (2006). I just loved a watch.
I find it and bought it on Cqout from Hong Kong. Then it was close to gen off all that you could find. But movement was bad. I realy do not know what version it is, mybe some one knows.

It was in my desk for a few years but then I decided to put some work in it, find some parts and put it together again.

I greesed a gasket from crown (it screw down very vell), the HE valve is sealed from inside with metal glue. I can go swimming, no problem.

If I find I Will put in a new dial replica , from PO that sells today (Picture) The next is a cystal.

Your probably right, I would regret it, it could never be replaced.

Guess I need to wait longer for a gen.

Just be careful of dial sizes, there may well be differences.

The V4/5 takes a gen dial.

Others may not, you probably want to measure the diameter and DW position, if it's a dial from a non clone movement it may be slightly different depending on the DWO.

I will have a look for the hand, not sure if I still have it though

Depending on the case you have it may take a gen crystal, have a look at cousins UK, they are not cheap though, alternatively if you can find a sunnydale crystal it may fit depending on what case it's for.

I don't know a huge amount about the UPO but believe the V4/5 will take a gen crystal.

There is some really good resource in this sub forum about frankens, have a search it may help.

Failing that I am sure someone will be along shortly who cam advise.
