Sometimes if the inner hinges part with the engraving section is too curved it can cause this. Close the clasp while not wearing it and try and press the whole thing more flush and see how it goes.
Does a Gen Rolex only keep the clasp flat by the shape of the engraved section too? Or is there some other mechanism there? A issue for me is that the last link in the photo is actually the divers extension so it's larger than a link would be so perhaps can't lie as flat. Problem is I can no longer alter the clasp as a screw that holds in the extension is loose and making it impossible to adjust the extension as it's in the glidelock hole.
I used a Dremel sanding attachment with fine grit sandpaper. Went over at 5K revolutions/min briefly and achieved the results I desired - no more razor sharp edges.
I found this website were the person had same issue with screw slipping into glidelock hole, but he doesn't really explain how he got it out, apart from maybe brute force ><
OK fixed the droop, It was as I suspected the divers extension part. I had to butcher the clasp slightly to get it out of the glidelock but its on inside wrist part so you can't see it really. Once I had it out i was able to remove the divers extension and the clasp now sits flush against bracelet, over all well pleased. Will give it a polish tomorrow to clean it up.
