Hi all

Im from Denmark, and because of the copyright law i cant order replica watches from outside the EU. They will be seized in custom, and i risk a fine.

My question is if any body know what to do, as i think it is illegal to import replicas into many other countryes than Denmark too. It is legal to to buy replicas from inside the EU though, so does anybody know of a replica shop in UK ?

Is it legal to import replicas from outside the EU to UK ?

I hope theres a solution

Thanks for your time, and have a great day..

It's not legal anywhere as far as I know, but there are thousands of members here who buy and sell worldwide regularly. Some have issues with customs and some don't. That's the risk you take. If you don't want to do that stick to buying from members in your own country.

It's not that risky as you think. Sure it's against the law to import reps but you can just deny in case of seizure. I don't know how customs are in Denmark but in Sweden they just don't give a crap about single watches. Wholesale shipments is another story. Only risk you take in Sweden is that they might want you to pay tax. You are not even risking the money as most trusted dealers would ship another watch in case of seizure.

Funny thing is it's completely legal to bring counterfeit items for your own use ( one piece of each kind) to Sweden as long as you are doing it personally when you cross the border.

According to Swedish Customs website there was only 356 cases of seized counterfeit shipments in 2013 :)

Hi and welcome, You need some more reading about payments and shipments. You need triangle shipping as everybody else in continental EU, safe and secure, cost $60 to $70, most TDs offer it.

Agree with above comments.
We spend a couple of months a year back in Odense and have never had a problem sending my watches from the UK.
Most dealers will offer triangular shipping, so the only risk is that you regret not buying on in the first place.

Thanks for all the quick replyes, its greatly apriciated :)

I have not yet tryed to order a package from outside Europe, that did not get opened by the customs. So it sounds like triangular shipping is the answer for me. Will the dealer have a place to ship to in UK, or will I have to find an adress myself ?

I know that Intime has an agent in the UK but not too sure about others.
Only ever had one seized so far in eight years.

Thanks for the answers

The law in Denmark says that as long as its from inside EU, its ok. So i will try a dealer that offers triangle from inside EU.
