Rolex sports watch poll - 2015

Hi all

I'm looking at getting a Rolex sports watch, but can't quite make my mind up - so I wondered if I can run a poll and get a sense of the people's choice...if you had to choose one, which of the following do you think is best out of the box:

1) Sub-C Noob v5
2) GMT ii Noob v2
3) Seadweller BP Classic
4) Seadweller 116600 Noob v2

I'm leaning towards the Noob SD v2 and will start a separate thread to summarise/discuss the main QC issues to look out for...but grateful to hear your opinions on the above poll.

If you want a sub c or SD then go straight to BK. He'll deal with the obvious flaws and you'll have a pretty nice piece.

A bit of a follow up question - is everyone convinced BK's mods are worth the extra $250...?

I mean his watches look amazing and I'm sure he puts in the work to justify the mark up...but are you absolutely sure you are prepared to pay that much over Noobfactory price, instead of buying a second rep (for example).

good point, but does anyone know what the quality of the Swiss eta is? Are we talking a brand new high quality eta movement, or a refurbished one? I know people are generally quite skeptical about eta over Asian clones - same applies here??

BK's swiss eta is a brand new (?) "SWISS made" eta movement. General consensus is that the usual asian ETA 2836 / 2824 with an service is running strong, just as good as swiss eta's. I'd rather take another BP SD for the money tho . Can never have enough watches.

Ordered my BK sub c 11 days ago. Paid extra for the mods and pressure testing. These "mods" are cleaning up obvious "tells" on an otherwise fine rep and adding an eta swiss movement as well as allowing me to swim with my watch. I'd say that is money well spent. I'll let you know when i get it.

That's an older version. There's a new one available with silver painted bezel engravings.

of course there are flaws yes just like any other rep.dial finish is the main one worth mentioning the rest of the flaws are not too bad
