There are so many great strap makers out there, price is really not my first concern, wait time is. With some of the more popular makers, wait time can be months. I love custom straps. You can get just about anything your heart desires and you have the imagination to conceive. I've had straps made out of my old baseball glove and some cool leather I found.

In general I have found that I like the look and feel of alligator straps. I also happen to like brown. Not just alligator grain, gen alligators.

Orloff straps are amazing quality not too pricey and he uses exotic materials. He also has a lot of them premade in popular sizes so waiting isn't an issue. You just tell him what size wrist you have, he punches the holes and ships it out.

I would definitely get a europelli shell cordovan strap in oxblood, or SNPR's blood diamond strap. I've already got a few asso straps, so cordovan is the way to go.
