Hi Guys,

Just a quick question, can anyone recommend a good polish/technique for buffing out light scratches in a stainless steel bracelet?

Thanks in advance,

Jeff

You can buy the cape code on ebay or amazon very cheap and than within 10 minutes of polishing, you will see a big difference ;)

Thanks, and this would be OK on a Submariner bracelet (that kind of finish)?

Cape cod.cloth is used to polish.
If you want to restore a brushed finish, the easiest and simple way is a scotchbrite pad.
Remove the bracelet from the watch, remove the clasp, then pull every one of these three parts indivdually towards you while pressing it on the pad. Try to go in straight lines and always brush in only one direction.
Most scratches will be removed and the brushed finish will shine like new. :)

To emphasis a point made by kilo: do not use a cape cod cloth on the brushed finish of a submariner. You will ruin the finish. Use a scotchbrite pad.

Tbh I can't see anything, anyway if there are some hairlines, they can be eliminated with the scotchbrite pad, just use a little more force :)

The part of the clasp is very prone to dive marks.. I have learnt to live with it :p
