Most people don't even know AP as i notice and many gen AP owners will not magnify or want you to proof it is real. Basically some people who own a gen AP that i personally do biz with will only think; rationally think: " can he afford such a watch to be gen?" in their minds.

They actually believe my reps are gens as they do know i have many gens

They will not look at your DW position or DW font.If it looks good and Not cheap quality you are fine.

And yes, i also like the pride of siam is mesmerizing as it is somehow very appealing to me. It is much different from other ROO

I want to wear it in a suit and not necessarily at a beach party.

Someone recently posted a rep "LeBron James" on the gen forum Rolex Watch Forum. Most of the gen guys thought it was authentic.

Yep. I saw a guy posted a rep IWC at WUS asking if it was gen or rep and ALL OF THEM so confidently said it was gen despite so 'obvious' flaw.
The moral of this story is that we at rep forum are so anal about little tiny weeny details that most of the times only we are able to 'tell'.
I do wear my APs proudly despite the tell tell signs. People around me know that I own gen so they just assume my reps are gens without second guessing. Of course I don't try to pass them off as a gen... I just never got to say anything. ;-p
Oh, one exception. One of my best friend (he is also a watch fanatic) and he noticed I rotate watches; pam, iwc, AP etc. He was just so envious and blurted out "you bought another AP??!! ". Of course I whispered "it's a rep~'.
Now he is a proud owner of pam bronzo. ;-)

GF#1 is your best gen AP, or your supercar......doesn't let you down, always looks good, always does what you say - still costly to run tho....

You can go for travelgirls (just look it up if you dont know what these are), sugarbaby, a sponsor girl in the FSU or you have terrifically good game and hit the clubs regularly.

BTW, i notice that more women than men know the brand AP. Especially the ones that walk around like fashion dolls.

lets bring this thread alive.

my biggest concern is the white ceramic, all of the rep ceramic is not milky enough.
they sort of very pale, not milky enough.
i have a long history with pride of siam franken.
it is my first gen dial that i bought from dr "who" long before he's famous.
my fisrt built franken,
i made cnc white ceramic beautifully from MACOR

but then have issues with the back plate.
the person who promise me to thinning the case also go never performed.
droped the project half way with tears and anger.

always come to boutique to wear them every now and then, but never have a guts to bought a weekend watch for twice a normal ROO price.
