Thought you guys would enjoy a shot of the new Datora. I'm enamered with it.

The Gen blue rubber deployment sets this baby apart.

It's the older world. The new one has the exact same date wheel. Both are slightly sunken. The caseback is the only real improvement I see in the new one.

yeah i fixed the sunken datewheel issue on my old one and made a gasket at work to fit the legende crystal with double AR. saw some photos of the new one on repgeek, crystal did look like it had better AR

The new Worlds are very nice - except for the AR. It has a lot of blue reflectivity and an amber cast which turns the silver / white dial yellowish.

They did a great job on the date wheel which is indeed flush, with good font. And it did not disable the minute and hour counter.

The amber cast seems to be a bit hit and miss Walt, I've seen some members with this problem, but mine is fine and clear. Could be a different batch of xtals which would explain the differences. Great build on these.

The dial's actually more silvery in the flesh than the pics show, which makes it even nicer
