also looking for a good Grande Lange 1 rep. Love that watch. Can anyone suggest a rep/dealer that can offer one?
I would also like to see that watch but we'll not see good rep of this watch in near future. Just look at the movement and complications. If you search around, most of the watches that are repped today uses pretty much the same ETA clone movements like 2824, 7750 and 6497 which are easily accesible and common in rep and gen watches. In house movements are totally different story.
How's the quality of this one? All the subdials seem to work:

The Lange 1 daymatic yellow gold is my dream watch. I prefer it over the original Lange 1 because the placement of the clock on the dial makes more sense as a cuff is lifted an inch to view the time and a day marker replacing the reserve on the left of the dial.
Since I'm unlikely to ever own an original, a good rep would do me very nicely indeed.

Now, I cannot say if they are reputable.. because I've never ordered from them, but at least their Langes are 40mm diameter. I really love Lange watches. Their simplicity is amazing.

Yes, might be buyer beware but their lange swisses are 40 mm. I've never seen those models on other sites, might be a scam
Hi, it´s a scam: "Chronograph fully working with Flyback function and jumping minutes" - there are no reps for this kind of movement and any gen is really expensive. Any site with flawlessEnglish is mostly an indication for a scam as well.
The Datograph is available from our TD´s. Good luck, take the easy and safe way and look around.
Thank you, Daywatch. I am not refuting anything you see. I e-mailed that site and they promptly responded, but it's too risky to spend that kind of $$$. I wish the other sites had 40mm Langes. It seems even the TDs have 44mm. I am sure this will change. I love the simplicity of Lange, don't you? Clearly, it is hard to duplicate--OR, there is simply little interest (!).. either way, there's not much out there by way of 40 mm and smaller sizes replicas for Lange.
The old Datographs were 39mm, the new 41mm. The reps are 44mm so the dials and subdials look correct and in proportion to fit the respective Asian 7750 rep-movement. If it was smaller it would look totally wrong. Don´t quote me on that but it´s the reason You wont find it smaller. Everybody is looking for bigger watches anyway.
Stay on the forum, look into the classic Pateks/ Breguets as well, the Montblanc is well done, and read a lot. This world is all about getting to know it and to end up buying what is well replicated and looks good, this possibly isn´t what You were originally looking for. But it´s well worth to get a super-replica Panerai alongside some others which are simply reliable.
thus far, the most convincing, to me, replicas are the A/Ps.. and the Vacheron Overseas. The Pateks look well done also, but I am holding hope for A Langes eventually to be made in the gen sizes. The 1815 reps I've seen look nice on pure-time.com, if I recall correctly. the biggest challenge I am seeing is the "top" trusted dealers have little stock right now (not puretime, but intime).

blah114; I am also looking for a a.lange. You have to look closley at these. I have seen were the second hand dial is sitting on top of the 6 where the gen is covering half of the six. Also watch for the hand colors. Gens are blue. And the bigges mess is the back view. Not even a pussy hair close to a gen and mispelled wording as well. "Made geimany" and just above that is ; "LAGEN REGULIRRT".

Having difficulty trying to work out exactly who they are (and whether they are on the trusted dealers list)
I've had a few emails with Sead1999 who recommends these L&S reps as having a good mechanism. Maybe he can get his hands on a decent one?!!

I have been looking for a great ALS for a while. Unfortunately there is little to find out there. I am very interested if anyone has anything from TD or ? I have tried PT and IT and two others not on the TD list. Mostly the "sold out" sign shows up for the ones I want. Same thing is happening for the Franck Muller Casablancas I am looking for. I did get my Patek Calatrava. Cant complain for that. Have to have patience.
