New member - Hello from Northern California

Hi everyone, just came by to introduce myself. Just getting back into watches after years away. I recently purchased a Maratac Pilot watch and some Orient automatics, but fell in love with the Panerai's. Even though I can afford it, I can't imagine spending the amount they want for a real PAM. I've got 2 kids in college, and have much better uses for that kind of money. Don't get me wrong, I'm not judging those to choose that route, but I enjoy the look of the watch, so its not about the prestige for me. Anyway, that led me here and I'm about to buy a PAM 111 from a TD. This is a great site with lots of fantastic information.
