Currently, I own submariner no-date BP fact. I am thinking about selling it and buy Sub no-date Noob V4 (358$ plus shipping) instead.

Do you guys think the quality of Noob is worth the extra money?

Thanks in advance for the input.

Thanks for advice.
Are there a big different between these two factories in this model? What are the different?

Hi, imho the differences are much less than generally read here on the forum. Actually there are several things which I like better on the BP, dial being one thing. The major difference and upgrade is the insert when the V5 no-date comes out and than it will be a (pricey) upgrade: nicely recessed and sharp numbers, platinum paint instead of white, different pearl.

Thanks for the info. That is why I bought BP no date at the first place. I read here a year ago and they said BP no date is very good, even compared to noob no date older version. But right now it seems noob update this model and I don't know is it a big leap forward in term of quality from noob.

Having owned both the BP version and noob v4 version, i can tell you the upgrade is worth it. That's not to say the BP is bad - it is a very good rep. But if you wait for the v5 ND noob, it will be even more awesome with the platinum upgrade. I find the Noob has a more gen-like feel when wearing it on my wrist.

If money is an issue, then just stick with your BP for the moment.

I dont have a noob sub, but my noob v2 gmt2c's bracelet has got wobbles since day 1. My bp sub has tighter links but the clasp sucks. Both have pros and cons, you can mix and match parts to get yourself a good sub.

Thanks for all the info here. The knowledge you guys post here in RWI is priceless.
IMHO, the downside in rep world is the only thing buyer can do before buying is to research the watch on internet without actually touch and feel it. I wish I can touch and feel all the noob, BP and other factory and decide with my own eyes and hands. Just dreaming. LOL
