I have 7 different display gadgets in front of me right now. Hmmm, maybe I should get another one that I can strap on my wrist. Sorry but no, my wrist is for watches only.

The Samsung Galaxy Gear watch is much better, but of course it only works with certain model Samsung phones. I'm curious to see what the iWatch will look like when it drops later this year.

Not sure I get the smart watch thing. Honestly. What is the point of it?

You have a smart phone in your pocket. You have a slave to it on your wrist. Why bother?

Call me cynical, but I see this as yet another transition, like Quadraphonic sound systems or the Palm Pilot.

It won't replace the wrist watch or the cellular phone. If it does the latter, or even proves to greatly enhance a cell phone its cost had better come way down if the rank-and-file will wear one. Hell, they are a few hundred bucks, are they not?

Just my $0.02 USD as always.

The fact that I'm searching for a watch online and these things are starting to show up in the search results is starting to piss me off.

understood! I get the picture lol based on looks alone I'm talking about. Function wise I agree. I don't need my texts sent to my wrists. Aesthetically I like the look. I love my noob ex2… selling it was a joke as I know I probably won't get another one! I use a Samsung Note right now and it does everything I need it to. I like the idea of changing up watch faces etc and generally dicking around with a new toy but won't be rushing for one of these. As they were announced yesterday, was just curious as to what people thought as to the direction these "wearable" devices are going in…

I actually like the one on the left, plus it has the name of my favorite golf course on it.

Mrs surprised me with a black Pebble on xmas morning.
Have to say, its a superb little piece of gadgetry.
Thought I'd be bored long before now. But its pushed some big hitters back into the watch box and is proving itself to be a very useful addition

I think I would prefer the moto 360 for the fact that here are a ton of "gen" round faces :)
