I know this has been talked about it a while back but there just doesn't seemed to be much info out there on where to get a nice one. I did see one on TrustyTime but is there anyone else? And has anyone owned one and have some thoughts about them?

Thanks ahead of time.:wyliehelp:

I just received mine from John at Lion City, very reasonable price and very fast shipping. He's sold out now but I bet he could get one if you are interested. Great guy to work with. I'll post you a taste in a minute

Sorry for the delay guys, here are a few more pictures of the watch.
All in all the watch is beautiful, the weight is great, and the detail is excellent. I'm not a super anal guy, I know some people can look at a picture an eye F%^k it, call out little details etc, but i understand that this is not the same as a $25,000 Heritage, or even the $1,000 modded versions that people sell, so for $248.00 Shipped to me the price is just right. I couldn't be happier.....been wearing it exclusively since i got it.

Comments / Critiques

The "Geneva" stamp on the band is a little wonky, the pictures seem to exacerbate is, but the "A" is just a little off.
The lume isn't brilliant if i'm honest, although its not a superlume. The lume is applied excellent, its just not ultra bright for long. Its actually much more blue-green in the person, the picture shows it almost Explorer-like blue, buts its the standard blue-green we all know and love.
The band is smooth, not stiff as i hear lately from some of the newer Sub reps
The bezel look very similar to my 116610 Ceramic, which is dig
Movement is good, power reserve is good, not great, but its still new, haven't examined the accuracy yet, no issue though either, so I think we're good.
Engravings on the back are nice and sharp, high detail, and flawlessly done.
The case is a little sharp, but a very slight smoothing should clear that up, but i might not even bother.

How has no one mentioned the crown? The gen has the same crowns that the 6538 had. The rep has a smalllll crown.

I know the crown isn't correct but for a watch this cheap putting in another crown isn't that big of a deal. Raffle time has the crown for sale for it.

Still going strong Kovacs?

What are the crystal and crown swap options for this one? To a lesser extent the bezel/pearl? It kinda needs the pearl IMO.

Even the gen was never an exact heritage homage though, being without pearl. It needs one. I couldn't get my head around why they left it out?

6538 has pearl.
116610 Sub C has pearl.

Blend of two... doesn't?

Also, what are the differences between this off-shelf, and the one 'PBDAD' deals with? Does he take this, and then mod it/alter it? Or start fresh with a different ceramic Sub (Noob?)

Still looking good, might hit up Yuki and get me a crown to match the gen model, little disappointment regarding the power reserve as it's not as strong as some of my others but other than that two thumbs up
