Hello

I purchased Hublot Big Bang Evolution Black Magic V6
which arrived today, but when i recieved it I found that section of the bezel and upper clasp is missing coating
therefore being lighter in depth. (Check the photo, its dead straight)

It can be passed as nothing, but everytime i look at it it stares back at me.

I wont send it back to TD cause its CNY and I dont want to hassle them or me.
(Couldnt find it in the QC photos but if i look at it deep, can kind of see it)

I will give it to local watch smith to coat, but I would like to know what kind of coating goes into this model
so i can ask my watchsmith whether he is able or not.

That's really odd. I've never seen that before, these are all ceramic construction. So not sure if you can re-coat these!

Yes I have never experienced this with ceramic watches. I have no idea
just assumed it was coating of some sort.

Did you approve QC photos?

I would send it back to the TD and ask for a replacement.

My Black Magic from Marv is flawless.

Wow, to me it looks like some chemical reaction. No TD would shipp watch like this I guess, not to speak about QC pics.

If you look closely you can tell its kind of off even in QC pics, while checking the QC pics I thought it was just dust or so.
The funny thing is if I rub the fade part it becomes same color as the rest of bezel Like below and Now i See it, there is a little scracth in the see through caseback.
I doubt the seller saw it as He probably rubbed it when handling it and saw that bezel is fine.
Only after I wiped it with cloth that the flaw showed itself.



However, since I personally approved the QC pics and said no problem, I dont think I can tell the TD to replace it for me. I will just let him know that this happened and hope
that it doesnt happen to anyone else.

You have to get in touch with TD. Really not acceptable at all. He won't be able to repair that. You should be offered a replacement. Just my opinion of course.

You should get offered replacement bezel from td. They all cny now. Email and hope reply in March

Problem is on the case too. Only accept replacement watch.

Use soft toothbrush and thinned wash soap scrub entire outside case. could be some type residual used at manufacture. the small scratch is at the back and not worthy time and money

Tried it, didnt work unfortunately, I think only option is to contact the TD.
Sad.
First purchase and a Problem. Not disappointed but rather just sad. Bad luck

Yeah get in touch with the TD. Explain what's wrong and how you feel. I always find its best to politely explain what you want next. I'm sure you will get a decent response. If not, there are sensible procedures you can follow in this forum.

Got a reply back from PT. They wont deny there can be a problem with the ceramic used. They are Honest eh? :angel:
They agreed to check the watch and act accordingly.
Fix or Replace either way I am happy that they will solve the problem.
All I / You need is patience my friends. Patience

That's the problem with ordering an item just before holiday . It is usually a bit of a rush , last minute and most times a lot of things overlooked and not checked properly.... Sorry to hear, hope it's resolved soon.
