specs is as follows:

case, bezel, crown, bracelet, clasp and dial are all rep from various spare parts
crystal and gasket is clarks
hands are from a sandoz donor watch
movement is ETA2836 from a salvaged Rado. date wheel overlay is from a local watchsmith

i had the bezel plated whitegold because its not at the best shape when i got it, but the platers did a somewhat passable job, i'll have another plater do it some other time

in my country (Philippines) some reps particularly the run of the mill ones are a dime a dozen and i usually choose the "best" parts from those

I wish I had a bin like yours.
What's she wearing?

beautiful DJ.

Looks great for a daily beater, that tapestry dial is the best.
Can we get some more pics?

Agree, tapestry is one of the best dials for a DJ another favorite is the champagne and linen types.

Other pics of the watch. I dobt have my caseback opener today so i'll post movement pics later.

I think its great how your being so humble about this whole thing, it's a good build made from "spare parts from the bin" ;)

thanks! maybe i just get lucky with parts that i came across for this build to be possible. i'm thinking if i will rebuff and polish the case or leave it as it is. i'm waiting now for my new SS fluted bezel to come maybe after the holidays and this is homerun

thank man, the only thing left is the SS bezel that i had ordered to complete the look. the existing bezel is not that good in person.

The vintage models had smaller profile fluted bezels and acrylic crystals. That's a vintage clasp.

i already tried fitting a gen bezel that i borrowed and it is a nice fit. the bezel i tried came from a gen 16234. i used clarks crystal and gasket on this build.

I think that the bezel you have on there looks pretty good- especially size-wise. Fluted bezels for 1600, 16000 and 16200 DJs are all smaller than the newer bezels for the 116200 cases.
It's always nice when you have a rep DJ case that will take a gen dial!

thanks! though the current bezel installed is "match" for the watch, the plating starts to wear off and the platers here in my country cannot do a half decent job in replating it. in pictures it's not that evident but in person it really shows on certain angles. i already tried a gen bezel from a 16220 and a 16234 and it fits nicely. one option for me though is have one custom built by using the existing bezel as template; maybe in 10k or 14k white gold. on the side note, a gen dial do fit in this rep case.
