Hmmm, I really do like the look of them. I know some people find them boring, but I love the clean, fresh and modern look it has....

That is a great collection. I love the Chopard!

You'd not have loved it quite as much if you'd spend the money I have on it! It was expensive to start with and then the full strip and service was added on top and then a new chrono seconds hand......

......**** me, it's the most expensive rep I own!! But I do love it and it does run very well now, has probably the longest power reserve of all my watches.

Now, that's what I'm talking about, how lovely does that look on the wrist?!

Which version is it?

I think you'll find that Granddad's Eterna was cased by Dennison to avoid import tax on gold, not Dennison importing watch parts. Early Wilsdorf & Davis (ROLEX) gold watches were also cased in Birmingham by A.L. Dennison after the import tax went into effect around 1908.

*Dennison was also responsible for the quality mass manufacture of pocket watch cases in the US in the mid 1800s... He moved to Birmingham to start ALD after he ran into money problems.

I'll bow to your better knowledge......
