Very nice but I'd have to find a longer min hand. That would drive me crazy.

If it's a clone movement, gen hands would be my first mod for sure.

The minute hand is accurate to ten (that is, too short… gets complained about on TRF too). The outer edge of the 3 is too rounded, and the dial is too glossy, but otherwise no obvious tells.

Overall nice watch but to me that 3 is a big tell. Those hands may not be too noticeable

Reading up on all the comments above, well that's why I went with the 36mm version of this watch. With no rehaut engraving. [did not want to risk even the slightest chance of wokiness] And a real Swiss ETA 2824-2 inside it. As close to Gen as you you can get. The dial is as black as black as you can get. Even the crystal height is almost spot on. But a 36mm may not be every ones cup of tea. Nevertheless, the larger 39mm is a nice watch. Enjoy !!

There is nothing wrong with the hand length???! Quality of them is pretty good too.
Also the dial is not full gloss, at least not on this j12 example anyway. It's not not fully matte but neither is the gen.
Rehaut is also perfect aligned.

Yes, the one from Sead [supermirrors] is quite goo, the best out there actually. BUT, the only reservation I have on that particular one is that the 'new' Rolex 'copy' movement inside it is not yet proven, and no parts are available. The jury is still out on that. So far so good. If it had an ETA 2824/34/36-2 movement, it would have flown off the shelves !! .............. Great watch, the Explorer I ............."sporty elegance" that does not shout 'ROLEX'!!

the gen with the short min hand looks bad too imo :p

i wonder why rolex did that..
every other watch they make has a min hand that at least comes close to the min tracker marks.

crazy that this watch has not been made with a A-2836 so that more people can/will buy them , which equals more money for the factories /dealers

I got this recently from TSWatch with Swiss ETA 2836. Also comes in A2836, A2813 and clone 3131. Watch is made by Noob.

Congrats buddy, I've been looking for that same configuration forever - Explorer I 39mm with 2836 movement. I also found that watch on TS, but wanted to ask you about the lume and the hands. Does it have Blue super lume? And are those sub hands? Thanks!
