Browsing over at RG and found this ... i am dumbfounded at how fast chinese factories are working. As per Angus (Puretime) - the case for this watch is almost done.

To each his or her own. still torn and not sure if i would ever wear it, but the gen is quite a piece of artwork, and if really hand crafted (Which i doubt) but if it is, i think its truly an interesting piece to have in the collection.

Why do we not have a 605 still?

I think that they jumped onto this one for the SIHH hype, but if they get the dial right on this, the 605 will come shortly there after. I guess we shall see.

At $10,000-$20,000 I have no interest in the gen. At $300-400 I might change my mind on the rep.
it is truly amazing how fast they repped this one. But while the case looks great I'm curious to see if they get the dial right. That sunburst effect on the gen dial is stunning. If they can rep that as well it'd be an amazing rep.
